Amazon Web Services is looking for a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst to support third-party risk intelligence efforts. In this role, you will lead third-party risk assessments. You will act as the primary point of contact during external audits, representing AWS by coordinating responses, providing documentation, and ensuring audit requirements are met. Additionally, you will prepare detailed risk reports, offering strategic recommendations to leadership to enhance risk management and compliance practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk assessment, audit handling, compliance management, and possess strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. Active Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance.

Key job responsibilities
1. Risk Assessment:
Evaluate third-party risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
2. Compliance Management:
Ensure compliance with AWS policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. Audit Representation:
Act as the team's primary representative during audits, providing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring audit requirements are met.
4. Risk Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed risk reports to leadership, offering insights and recommendations to improve risk management practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Political Science or related discipline, or 4+ years in lieu of a degree.
•7+ years of compliance and audit-handling.
•7+ years of industry experience in Third-Party risk identification, assessment, and remediation.
•7+ years of experience in compliance and audit-handling, specifically on the receiving end of audits, i.e., managing requests, gathering documentation, and responding to both external and internal auditors.
• Strong writing skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging reports for various audiences and purposes.
• Strong ability to interpret and analyze raw data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
