A dynamic, growth-oriented company at the forefront of advanced manufacturing is hiring a Solidworks Design Engineer. We are seeking a Production Engineer to support and optimize highly automated processes in Assembly, Molding, and Stamping. This role involves driving innovation, supporting new product launches, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Production Engineer Responsibilities

• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, equipment layout, cycle times, and capacity to support scalable production.
• Collaborate with planning and design teams to ensure product and tooling designs align with efficient, automated manufacturing methods.
• Develop production schedules for new components, plan process flows, identify equipment needs, and oversee prototype and production line development.
• Interface with vendors to define product specifications, coordinate procurement of equipment and materials, and evaluate quality and compliance.
• Design and coordinate the fabrication of tools, gauges, fixtures, and automated assembly and test equipment.
• Create comprehensive documentation for new product launches, including process flows, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, capability studies, and rate validations.

Production Engineer Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or AS degree with equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and SolidWorks
• Experience in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment
