Sr Advanced Software Engineer
Sr Advanced Software Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
Perform safety critical software activities in compliance with DO178B/C standards.
Responsible for providing quotes and estimation hours and cost for new and incremental update flight management system programs.
Responsible for lead, design, develop complex safety critical avionics system software in RTOS environments.
Test the software on Honeywell avionics integration benches using the Honeywell test tool suite.
Ensure smooth integration of software into software build.
Collaborate with other teams in an integrated environment and ensure product integrity.
Conduct scrum meetings and software design discussion and status tracking meetings.
Provide resolution to software bugs by updating and validating.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have
a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Aerospace Engineering,
Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related
field, and 8 years of software lifecycle processes, complex aerospace subsystems,
and embedded software experience. Full term of experience must include:
DO178B/C standard; Embedded system development experience; Safety critical
system life cycle experience; and Software Integration and Verification and
Validation experience.
