Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Pay: $21–$28/hr
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical services by decontaminating, cleaning, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment. This role ensures proper documentation, accurate inventory, and timely support to the OR and clinical departments.
Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, assemble, and sterilize instruments and trays.
Operate decontamination and sterilization equipment (e.g., washers, sterilizers, Sterrad).
Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Retrieve, restock, label, and store instruments and supplies.
Perform quality checks and maintain accurate sterilization and tracking records.
Build case carts and fulfill requests from OR, Pre-Op, and PACU.
Assist with staff training and respond to urgent/emergency needs as required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Central Service/Sterile Processing experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
CRCST certification required.
