Salary: $87,100 - 157,450 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering; or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
• DOD Directive 8750 Compliant (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
• Proficiency with automation/scripting languages like Puppet, Ansible, Bash, etc.
• Proficiency working in a team with Git source control manager
• Experience with Linux System Administration and Linux System Hardening
• Experience with RHEL 7/8/9 OS platform
• Strong working knowledge of Virtual infrastructure technologies

• Automate installation of software using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Bash, and/or Python
• Provide higher tier support and in-depth hardware and OS troubleshooting, configuration, backup, security measures, and disaster recovery services
• Develop advanced Linux-based solutions in support of enterprise level systems
• Develop installation procedures and automation for Red Hat infrastructure and third-party software
• Devise strategies and automation to maintain the security posture of all Linux resources
• Provide input and participation in briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, and project technical planning
• Develop and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation
• Collaborate with managers, network and systems engineers, team members, and customers on solutions and issues
• Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoD requirements and emerging threats
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members

The Systems Administrator will support tasks on the contract related to the BICES Program. US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. Preferred qualifications include a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, or GitLab, and experience delivering solutions in accordance with agile and waterfall methodologies.
