Job Description

MTP is looking for a scientific content writer to create compelling content to inform and delight its veterinary, and (B2B and B2C) audiences.

As part of the ECS, your mission will be to engage our audience through key channels such as web, email, and social generating awareness and driving conversions to products.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • •Deliver timely production of original content – with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and quality of content – in an audience appropriate tone of voice
  • •Create educational content for veterinary professionals and farm animal producers that is aligned with global SEO and content strategy.
  • •Incorporate keyword research to maximize SEO and SEM results for web content.
  • •Craft compelling branded marketing emails, video storyboards, social media posts, and other collateral.
  • •Prepare publication-ready content in accordance with legal, medical, and regulatory requirements
  • •Develop, maintain, and use standard formats to ensure the documents meet industry and business requirements
  • •Collaborating with cross functional teams and while seeking guidance from subject matter experts.
  • •Take ownership of tasks and adhere to timelines.

Key Technical Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to prioritize and execute deliverables with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills in English – written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools, keyword research, and implementation
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Draft error-free documents and ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to think on their feet and proactively come up with new ideas.
  • A ‘can do’ and collaborative attitude.
  • Good documentation and planning skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be well versed with MS Suite

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s/Life Science degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, English, or other related degree
  • 3-5 years content creation experience. Writing for B2B, B2C audiences or in healthcare, animal health a plus.
