POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervises multiple functions within Transport Department.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

• Supervises multiple functions within Transport Department at various branches.
• Responsibilities may include the transportation of materials and/or finished goods, vendor selection and negotiation.
• Provides leadership and expertise to Operations team.
• Conducts performance reviews.
• Performs interviews for openings.
• Provides coaching, counsel and discipline up to and including termination of employment as necessary.
• Performs other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 8 years Transport Management experience; OR 10 years Transport Management experience.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Previous experience in a union environment.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
• Experience working in a team environment.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Potential earning is from $64,500.00 to $74,900.00 annually
