Orange, TX Recycling Plant is seeking a Warehouse Laborer to assist operators with running machines used in the recycling process.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist Bailers, Pelletizers, Roll Cutters, and Grinders with duties such as material handling (film, chunks, pellets in various forms), material identification, tying up bales, material sorting, box tipping, regulating output onto conveyers and putting plastic into boxes. This position has the goal of potential for upward movement; for example, becoming certified on a forklift as well as becoming a future machine operator. Grounds Maintenance duties may also be required such as sweeping the floor, taking out trash, and cutting grass as needed, Training and supervision will be provided by the client. Client will ensure all OSHA guidelines for work safety are followed.
Pay $14.00 per hour
Temp to Hire position
Work Hours Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m. with 1 hour lunch break
Must wear closed toed shoes.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 pounds as well as bend, lift, stoop.
* Must be physically fit and able to work in a labor intensive environment all day.
* Must be able to attend work regularly and on time* Motivation to learn about the business and advance within the company.
