Job Description

The Wire EDM Machinist has experience of programming with Esprit, running and controlling Wire Electrical Discharge Machine.

Responsibilities:

• Setup, program and operate the wire EDM properly.
• Fabricate machinery parts and fixtures per given specifications.
• Produce and deliver high quality punches, dies and tools as requested.
• Inspect all machined parts and conduct QA activities.
• Select and utilize a variety of inspection and measurement tools like gauges and micrometers.
• Clean the wire EDM and perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean work area to assure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock of tools and supplies as needed.

Experience:

High school or technical school diploma, milling experience is a plus, Basic wire and Basic g code. (G54 G00 X0,y,0) an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have all personal tools required to perform routine machining tasks and inspections (calipers, set up blks, wrenches)

Hours are 6:50 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and overtime if needed is 6:50 to 3:00 pm on Friday and the weekends
