Our Yard Jockey's strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with our team._ + Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments + Keep assigned equipment coupled + Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor + Load, unload or merge loads between environments + Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers + Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallet + Place backhauls in correct door to be unloaded by warehouse + Make sure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries + Work with mechanics nightly + Must attend all required company meetings + All other duties as assigned **_Stay updated by following US Foods on any of our social media platforms at the bottom of the page!_** Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21/hr - $26/hr.
