BSNL Releases Major Recruitment Notification
Public sector telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a major recruitment drive, offering a valuable opportunity for job seekers. The company has officially released a notification to fill 120 Senior Executive Trainee (SET) posts at the management level. These vacancies are spread across Telecom and Finance streams, making it an attractive option for both engineering and finance professionals aiming for a stable central public sector career.
Vacancy Details and Pay Scale
Out of the total 120 posts, 95 vacancies are allocated to the Telecom stream, while 25 posts are reserved for the Finance stream. Selected candidates will be appointed as Senior Executive Trainees and offered a competitive salary package. The pay scale ranges from ₹24,900 to ₹50,500 per month as per the old pay scale, along with additional allowances and benefits applicable to BSNL employees.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Candidates applying for the Telecom stream must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or Instrumentation from a recognized university. For the Finance stream, applicants must possess CA or CMA qualifications. The age of the candidates should be between 21 and 30 years as of the last date of application, with applicable age relaxations as per government norms.
Important Dates and Application Process
The online application process will begin on February 5, 2026, and the last date to apply is March 7, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to edit their applications from March 8 to March 15, 2026. The computer-based test (CBT) is scheduled for March 29, 2026. The application fee is ₹2,500 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates need to pay ₹1,250.
