Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F70e 5G in India, marking the debut of its new Galaxy F70 series. The budget-focused smartphone will be available via Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store starting February 17. Pricing begins at Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 13,999. As part of an introductory offer, Samsung is providing an instant discount of Rs. 500. The device will be sold in Limelite Green and Spotlight Blue colour options.

Display and Premium-Inspired Design

The Galaxy F70e 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 800 nits. The panel offers a pixel density of 260ppi and supports up to 16 million colours, delivering smooth visuals for everyday use. On the design front, Samsung has added a leather finish rear panel, giving the phone a more premium appearance. The rear cameras are housed in a pill-shaped module, while the front features a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera.

Performance and Hardware Capabilities

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 octa-core chipset, clocked at speeds of up to 2.4GHz, paired with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Samsung claims the device achieves an AnTuTu score of around 6,23,000, placing it competitively within the entry-level 5G segment. Users also get 128GB of internal storage for apps, media and files.

The Galaxy F70e 5G features a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Powering the phone is a large 6,000mAh battery, designed for long-lasting usage. The device runs Android 16 with One UI 8, and Samsung has promised an impressive six years of operating system and security updates, a rare commitment in this price segment.
