Ekudden noted that while current 5G networks are increasingly AI-powered, the full benefits of advanced AI systems will only be realised when networks evolve into AI-native 6G infrastructure. Such next-generation networks will be designed from the ground up to support intelligent, real-time AI workloads.

Artificial intelligence is already transforming telecom operations by helping operators manage, dimension, and run networks more efficiently.
