Pay Range: $68,000-$70,000 annually

The Job: 
Are you a savvy marketer who wants to work for a fast-paced and innovative non-profit? If so, come join our fun and exciting Marketing Team. As the Email Marketing Manager you will build an audience and depth of engagement through email, social media and other digital storytelling mediums. You will serve as the organization's storyteller and handle strategic and day-to-day communications, program marketing and content creation across multiple digital channels including email, organic and paid social media, the OFJCC blog and digital advertising.

The Core Duties: 
  • Promote OFJCC program enrollment, event attendance, membership sales, staff recruitment and brand awareness through original content, storytelling and online promotions across all online channels
  • Write and produce high quality email newsletters and workflow-driven communications
  • Work with program managers and digital marketing agency to design and implement effective promotional campaigns in email and social media
  • Review all social media activity to ensure best practices and build audiences, and support content created by others. Manage channel administrators as needed and provide periodic strategic guidance.
The Essentials:
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience with email marketing software such as MailChimp
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and verbal skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking and work output
  • Experience creating and managing content across multiple social media channels
  • Understanding of digital marketing metrics and best practices
  • Experience with marketing automation practices
  • Ability to problem solve, take initiative, set priorities, handle multiple projects and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and other employees
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience developing marketing program metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
  • Basic graphic design and photo editing skills; e xperience with Adobe Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop a plus
  • Experience in video production and photography desirable
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when needed
  • Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
