Job Description

We’re looking for a patient, engaging, and reliable English Tutors to support students in the Carlsbad and Oceanside areas. This role is ideal for someone who loves helping students grow as readers, writers, and communicators.

What You’ll Do:

Provide 1:1 English and writing support (high school experience preferred; all grade levels a plus)

Assist with reading comprehension, essay writing, literary analysis, grammar, and study skills

Help students stay organized and on track with assignments and deadlines

Communicate session updates and progress notes after each lesson

Build strong rapport with students and families

What We’re Looking For:

Experience tutoring or teaching English/ELA

Strong writing and communication skills

Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently

Comfortable working in-home

Friendly, professional, and able to adapt to different learning styles

Schedule & Location:

Part-time, flexible schedule

Opportunities weekday afternoons/evenings primarily

Students located in Carlsbad and Oceanside areas
