Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a certified Epic Candence Analyst for a remote opportunity with a growing healthcare system. This Epic Cadence Analyst to lead configuration and optimization of scheduling workflows across our organization. This role focuses on provider schedules, referral management, and enhancing patient self-scheduling through MyChart. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Epic Cadence and a strong understanding of front-end access operations as well as support the system holistically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure provider schedules, visit types, decision trees, and referral workflows.
- Manage referral-to-appointment workflows, including authorization and ticket scheduling.
- Support MyChart self-scheduling initiatives, including building decision trees and contributing to Epic's MyChart Honor Roll program.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve scheduling efficiency and patient access.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cadence functionality and integrations.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and go-live support.
- Document build specifications and maintain workflow documentation.
- Share on-call responsibilities with the revenue cycle team (1 week every 12 weeks).

Skills and Requirements
- Epic Cadence Certification
- 5+ years of experience as a Cadence Analyst.
- Proven experience with referral workflows and scheduling configuration.
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project and team engagement (2-3 times a year) - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., IT, Healthcare Administration).
- Experience with Epic Welcome and front-end access tools.
