We are seeking a Locums Interventional Radiology Physician for onsite coverage in Wooster, OH. The position involves diagnostic and interventional procedures across multiple modalities, serving a diverse patient population.
Position Details
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume (per 8-hour shift): 90–100 studies
wRVUs: 60–70
Modalities: X-ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy
Subspecialty Case Mix: ER, MSK, Neuro, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Fluoroscopy
Light IR Procedures:
Biopsies: Thyroid, Lung, Bone, Liver, Renal (CT & US guided)
Drainages: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drainages, Chest Tube, Cysts
Lumbar Punctures: Diagnostic Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, Epidural
Arthrograms: Joint Injections (Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle)
Responsibilities
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities
Conduct light interventional procedures as listed above
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/PACS
Communicate findings to referring physicians clearly and professionally
Collaborate with radiology and support teams to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
Board Certification in Radiology
Active Ohio Medical License
DEA Registration
Clean Malpractice Coverage
Proven experience in interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging
