Security Driver/Executive Protection Agent

Iron Shield Protection is currently searching for a Security Driver/Executive Protection Agent to join our team in Lansing, Michigan! The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, security, and technology while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Services Detail (PSD), Law Enforcement or Residential Security Teams (RST)
• Valid LEOSA permit, Unrestricted Concealed Carry Weapons permit, and/or CPR certification required
• Team members must maintain physical readiness to respond to potential threats or hazards
• Strong understanding of basic risk management principles, security protocols, and emergency response procedures
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
• Ability to operate with integrity and professionalism in all job functions, ensuring confidentiality and discretion
• Prior military or law enforcement experience in physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, and secure transportation preferred
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Participation in random drug screenings is mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the client during transportation to and from residence, work, and other locations.
• Make real-time operational decisions to enhance safety and ensure a high level of service for the client.
• Maintain and manage security logs, radio logs, visitor information, residence audits, vehicle inspections, and security phone communication.
• Monitor detection systems, panic alarms, and CCTV cameras.
• Manage access control for visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Ensure effective communication with the client, their family, and other team members.
• Support pre-planning and risk assessment for executive attendance at events and coordinate with Iron Shield Protection support personnel.
• Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the client and team, quickly resolving operational issues.
• Detect and report suspicious activity or security vulnerabilities and address them appropriately.
• Maintain physical readiness to respond to potential hazards or threats in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.
