Dinakaran is a daily Tamil newspaper. It is distributed in all over India. It was founded by K.P. Kandasamy in 1977 and it is currently running by Sun Network. Dinakaran is the second largest circulation daily Tamil news paper after Dinathanthi. It is printed in 12 cities around India. Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Madurai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Nagercoil, Pondicherry, Salem, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Vellore. As of 2014, the newspaper has a circulation of 1,215,583. After  Sun Network take over this initially they started 1 Rs for one paper. It is a very good marketing strategy. It reaches more people. It is low cost to compare other Tamil newspaper at that time.

Sun Network is a well known company in India. Especially in South India all of them known about Sun network. Initially they started a channel in Tamil language only. Just now (14/04/2018) they celebrated 25 years completion of sun network. After  that they expand their network to south India. Now they are running in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada.
